Ash Eliot
Hey, I'm Ash Eliot. I like to oversee communications, digital strategy, partnerships and creator relations for beverage brands, tech, non-profits & musicians with an emphasis on developing unique content strategies with a positive impact on our world.
With over 12 years of experience in marketing & communications for corporations, agencies & media, I've worn a lot of different hats but that's the only way to progress, learn and carve your own path in this wild place. Formerly, I held director and management roles in PR and digital marketing at Universal Music Enterprises, Interscope Records, BMG and Cornerstone Agency.
Up until a few years ago, I was working full-time in music, spearheading digital marketing campaigns for various frontline and catalog artists. After 10 years of pursuing my passion for the music industry in journalism, PR and marketing, in 2018, I made a huge leap. I decided it was time to pursue an industry I've always had a passion for - the craft beverage and hospitality industry. Over the past three years, I've worked with a range of clients in nearly every stage of the brewery business from homebrewer turned commercial brewer to opening a taproom to distributing product nationwide. Since, I’ve been consulting for various breweries, bars, restaurants and alcohol brands while still working on a variety of music-related projects. I'm also a partner with digital creator and brewing educator Sarah Flora of Flora Brewing who is planning to open her own brewery.
Social responsibility and impact are two very important areas throughout my personal life and career. I now work with a non-profit urban farm called GrowGood in Southeast LA and pre-covid helped in the kitchen at the Downtown Women’s Center. I started a platform to support women and diversity in the beverage industry with an emphasis on beer: Women of the Bevolution in 2019. I'm also on the Pink Boots Society Los Angeles Cabinet focused on membership & PR. And most recently helped Brienne Allan launch a global initiative to advocate for a safe and a discrimination-free beer industry called Brave Noise, a collaborative brew.
