Irina Pavlova is a freelance illustrator and filmmaker from Saint Petersburg, Russia, living in Paris. After she graduated with a master’s degree in international marketing at the University in Saint-Petersburg, she moved to France where she studied graphic design and animation at Ecole Supérieure Nationale d’Audiovisuel (ENSAV) in Toulouse. She works digitally because she likes the endless possibilities and freedom this medium offers. She uses bright, cheerful, bold colours, imperfect shapes, fun textures and patterns. Animals, nature, environment, freedom and identity are the subjects she likes to explore in her artworks.
