Toronto, ON, Canada

Christina Baltais is an analog collage artist from Toronto, Ontario. Her creative process involves combining hand-cut vintage images primarily  from the 1950's/60's, with her own photography. She then digitally enhances the colours to bring to life the surreal worlds that fills her imagination. Creative expression has been a significant therapeutic tool that's helped her navigate life with a very disabling disease called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS). She uses her art (collage, sculpture, and photography) as a means of storytelling, advocacy, and to cultivate joy in her daily life.
